      Climate and live conditions

Puerto Rico, located on the south-west coast of Gran Canaria, benefits from one of the most stable microclimates on the island. Its position between hills and facing the Atlantic often provides calmer wind conditions compared to more exposed northern areas.

Average daytime temperatures typically range between 20°C in winter and 28°C in summer. Even during the cooler months, the area maintains mild conditions that allow for outdoor activities, coastal walks and beach visits throughout much of the year.

Rainfall in this part of the island is generally limited and tends to occur in short seasonal periods, with long dry stretches dominating the annual pattern. The combination of southern orientation, coastal geography and natural shelter contributes to Puerto Rico’s reputation as a year-round destination.

Is Puerto Rico beach good for swimming?

Yes. Puerto Rico beach is sheltered and generally calm, which makes swimming comfortable in most conditions.
